bless you for knowing this song :legend:

:worship2:

I had no idea he had tragically died (or did he have a death wish) when I discovered him.  His cover of Hallelujah is the most breathtaking vocal cover I have ever head.

I should have linked this video of Forget Me instead of the official music video I linked.  This shows clips of him.  He was beautiful, prettier than most girls.  What a loss.  Bowie praised him when he first came onto the scene I read, saying he was a brilliant songwriter and said his album Grace would be in his top 10 desert island albums.  It's so sad to wonder how he could have progressed since he only had the debut album and getting ready to record his second.  He was influenced by so many genres that I think he would have become one of the biggest singer/songwriters out there.

This link, my God, he was so beautiful with those long eyelashes, and such a soulful voice.

Omg  :rip: This is the greatest gif I've ever seen.

I feel so bad for her though. It was clear something was wrong for months.  :deadbanana:

Glad things are finally back on track.

The question is are fans going to accept awesome ideas if they aren't commercially successful?

Yeah, i understand what you mean. I wasn't talking about commercially successful ideas though, but about artistically sucessful ideas.

Yeah by "back on track", it's probably about her being happy again...

Are we STILL concerned with charts after gaga explicitly expressed that mentality was pretty much ruining her soul?

well it was not us who went in depression and wanted to stop making music after our album flopped and everyone said it was flop right? so who's concerned about the charts in this situation :koons:

and clearly my post wasn't serious and I'm sorry if u felt offended by it

We were the ones calling her a flop...

I wasn't offended by sh*t, I'm just saying it's odd that people call themselves fans of gaga but don't consider her as a person.

I'm glad that know she is ok, and it could happen situations like that especially at her levels, I never blamed her, it was obvious that something went wrong during those months.

I think that she will teas less her fans and the media in the future, but after all the epic things that she has done, it's also normal that people and media have high expectations with her.

One thing is sure, her 'no big sales' or 'no nominations' at some awards will always make notice and being on the spotlight. more than the people who sell more or that have more nominations.

God you people annoy me you'll scream MORE NUMBER 1S SLAYGA SLAY ME SLAY DO IT NOW FASTER SLAY then complain like crazy and diss her music and talents and "lasting power" when it "flops" and then when she has a breakdown because of you you all go ohhhh poor girl stay strong gaga KWEEN. You literally put her there it's like dragging someone to a tall building pushing them off it and complaining that they're falling and then when they hit the ground you're like Oh poor thing

SpadesToStart

I have a good feeling that her next album is going to be her best, and it's going to slay. She's learned a lot from ARTPOP, she's gotten back in touch with her musical roots with Cheek the Cheek, and we all know this b---h won't go down without a fight.

First of all, where in this article does it say that she just wants hits and commercial success now? You're assuming that by "keeping the train on the tracks" she means that she's gonna try to get #1's by listening to every little thing that her label says she should. It most likely means that she doesn't want to just drop the ball again, which she did.

Second of all, you're reading too much into her shade directed toward people in the industry. Like, just because admits she hates the fact that her label made her sing a certain way to be commercial doesn't mean she wants to throw them away. She has praised her label and many occasions - many more times than she has shaded them. I really don't think you understand her relationship with her label so that's probably why you're so quick to judge. The way I see it, it's kinda like how fans praise and shade Gaga. You have to right to condemn and not support things she does, but at the end of the day, you're still a fan.

Her label and management are given credit and praise when it's due - when it's the matter at hand. The matter at hand right now is the mismanagement and deceit she experienced, which resulted in her "crashing the train in the middle of era." When good promo is announced this fan base is, for the most part, cognizant and grateful of the figures that may have been involved. LM.com and the ARTPOP app were regarded as potentially genius innovation in artist-fan interaction -- everyone knew Troy was behind that. Everyone knows Iovine was behind smart single decisions. Boomkack created the epic Bad Romance choreo. So, I don't know where you come off saying people don't recognize that her label makes good commercial decisions. But, just because those people created successes, doesn't mean they were good people to her.

And, sure, her label very much supported Born This Way. Promotion all over the place. But ARTPOP? Rumor on the street around the release was that her label didn't like it and weren't gonna promote it that much. Whether or not that is true, ARTPOP did get shafted in terms of promotion when you compare it to BTW. Coincidentally, Gaga began to bad mouth industry figures around this time.

We must be taking different things from this and past interviews. I'm not reading too much into things but she needs to understand that you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you, it's a simple life lesson and I think she's learnt it now... hopefully.

Also the ARTPOP promo was ruined by first of all Applause leaking but then the promotion was pretty good so that rumour is most likely false.
