Miel 15,009
This was actually a very interesting read. It's really nice to see how she talks about jazz and jazz techniques, and the whole watercolor a--logy towards the boundaries of the Songbook was a really great way to put it through. As for one jazz album per year, I doubt she'd put them out in a manner so quick and formulaic- but, I don't doubt that this will be her last and only one. She'll probably end up doing quite a few, maybe even writing her own? 3 points in and ready for more
Michael 533
Sounds cool, but I bet it will become another betrayal. Although I do see her releasing more jazz music in the future.
Vernier 3,786
It's clear that jazz is some kind of escape for her, so if she's decided she wants to have that "escape" every year, good for her. It's not like she's going to stop releasing pop music anywaysHowever, knowing how spur of the moment Gaga is, this might probably not even happen Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
brizoda 3,857
I'm laughing at myself saying this, since I absolutely hate how many times Gaga likes to betray us, but I'm hoping this is a betrayal. I'm telling you now, if she completely leaves her pop roots for Jazz, she'll lose over 80% of her fan base lol. I'm gonna say 95 percent

SummerGirl21 787
Well, the first one took like three years to make, so I doubt it. the actual process of making it didn't really take that long... all of the footage is basically from the past 6 months... Also, if she is so bitter about the music industry, I think she should leave Interscope when she has the chance and start her own label or join an independent label. I know people say she can't do that and have the big grand shows, but I'd be down for a less grand show. She didn't have lots of money before Just Dance and all of her performances were incredible. I love the Disco Stick/two back up dancer phase.

CannaeDrive 3,412
Does this mean all the b---hy, annoying twinks will finally haul ass out of the fanbase and leave the rest of us in peace? Or are they going to stick around and whine some more? That's the real question now. Will the weed out of this fanbase be finally happening? Anyway, more Jazz, best news in a long time, bring it on, Gagz "Fame Is A Boomerang" - Maria Callas
HausOfMiklaus 1,803
So we have yearly RECEIPTS of what our queen can do with her voice, and the playground of jazz music. She's probably speaking figuratively , but hearing her sing like that is like chicken soup for the soul.
TimisaMonster 31,073
How bout a pop album once a year like Rihanna? inb4 her jazz recording gets in the way of her pop recording... Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!

SychosSoChic 9,995
Me when I read the title thinking this must be a joke: When I read through the thread and realised this was NOT a joke: Me at the thought of Gaga never doing pop again (I know she never said so, and she probably won't but the fear is still there): Me being called an annoying twink/fake fan/ignorant/closed minded by people purely because I like pop and have never been remotely attracted to any other genre that did not have strong pop influences: I refuse to apologise for loving pop and I refuse to apologise for not liking jazz. You can all stay pressed. I'll be waiting for the next pop album. Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.
Retep 0
it would be a cool thing, that way she'd sell more records I can see Xmas albums too I'd be cool with a normal album in the spring every year or two and then a holiday Jazz album each year. I can't imagine it'd be too much effort considering the majority of the songs she'd sing would have already been written.
