Mills 446
No. ARTPOP is a strong album with decent pop/dance gems, including the ones produced by Zedd. I'd say no one from the music department "ruined" the album. When I first heard ARTPOP, I LOVED it, and I still love it even to this day - mainly because of how it sounds. It's an album meant to be played in the clubs, sans one track, and it clearly sounds one! The productions of the songs, while may not be the best among Gaga's discography, are way above bearable. If there's anything that ruined the album's potential, it's the drama behind the scenes which arguably overshadowed everything, even the music. DrewStevens 5,249
Yeah sure, 3 songs ruined a whole album... It's her album, it's her fault. He didn't choose to include his songs in her album and his tracks were not the most criticized ones.

Schwerk 7,243
How would we know how things were before Zedd came in the picture? According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
XoXoJoanneGaga 629
How would we know how things were before Zedd came in the picture? We do know that the lead producer was Fernando Garibay, with song titles like White Roses, Penthouse ***, Princess Die, Red Lipstick, Crwth, Element of Crime, Private In Public, Candy Art. An overall darker, more conceptual album. But it's not Zedd's fault the direction got changed, that was Gaga and Interscope, and they called him in after. I really hope a act II or whatever you call with all those songs who were supposed to be in the album initially before she changed her plans after her surgery ! Muh 144
No, I think too much DJWS did, I mean I love him and he's a great producer but she should have worked with other producers Altho I kind of feel betrayed by Zedd because we all know he DID NOT did/committed the best he can with ARTPOP (G.U.Y. is great but not the best song on the album and Aura and Donatella weren't made for Gaga

Aha, but dont let those songtitles mislead you. Knowing Gaga, the titles might be 'dark', but I feel many of those could sound surprisingly 'happy'. I'm confident the songs won't be lost forever. I hope so, they sound very promising. Maybe some morphed into others. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
