Did Zedd Ruin ARTPOP?

In my opinion , G.U.Y. is the weakest song from ARTPOP , Donatella is not really a memorable song and for Aura....well...the demo was better , but i'm bored now by both...the only songs I'm using from ARTPOP are the non-Zedd ones (i really like his songs and what he produced , but those aren't his best work)

Musically sis, not commercially

You didnt understand me - i was talking about music cause people think that if there was someone else instead of Zedd then it would sound better and i think he did his best and i think its really welldone

I think G.U.Y. is one of the best songs on ARTPOP but donatella is really bad for me at least lol

Madeon was a much bigger let down. If you heard Icarus, you would know.

I was expecting quite a bit more because of Finale, actually.

3 points in and ready for more

He didn't ruint ARTPOP but he didn't exactly contribute anything that great (with the exception of Aura , which i refuse to credit to him). All his weak ass instrumentals would be nothing without gagas vocals on top of them. I will scream if she keeps him on the next album. They clearly don't have a very good chemistry.

I think Gaga and Zedd have good chemistry. Gaga works with people she has good chemistry with so I don't think he ruined it. I love GUY and Aura (I wish it had more of that Infected Mushroom original instrumental), but I missed having RedOne on the album, and probably even Fernando Garibay, but it was time to let go that and I guess Gaga just wanted a different sound from what she's always done, so I give her props for that.

I love DJ White Shadow's productions on Born This Way, and most of the songs he worked on ARTPOP are also great, so I'm excited to see if they keep working together in the future.

GUY, Aura and Donatella are produced by Zedd, but Lady Gaga is the main producer and the one that picks what she wants on the album, so whatever we got is because of her decision. We've seen that Zedd can produce pop music that sells (Ariana Grande, among others) so I don't think Zedd "killed ARTPOP". I don't really see why ARTPOP is "dead" when it's great, it's just that people focus on the negative things way too much that they always expect another Poker Face - Bad Romance timeline where everything was going up and up every day. I don't want fans to get disappointed but they really should not expect that. We see that every year there's a new "it girl" that takes the most attention, and they need to realize this. Gaga is not always to be on top of the charts, but she sure is going to make good quality music that I like (I hope so).

I hope she keeps working with new producers in the future, as well as have RedOne, Garibay and DJ White Shadow have a comeback in the future, but as long as Gaga is doing what she likes, I'm fine with it. I'm also excited to see Rick Rubin work with her in some other time.

Some things happened behind the scenes, but Zedd didn't ruin ARTPOP, spoiled, bandwagon and annoying pop fans ruined ARTPOP with so much negativity and high expectations.

I thought ARTPOP was loved. Now it's ruined?

Blamey, blamey. Gaga was proud of her album. It didn't click as big as other music, but clicked for a lot of fans. She wrote it. Some love it, some only like it, and some don't like it. Move on.

Zedd didn't really "produce" the trucks, he just used some of his left over production (except Aura). I think if Gaga and Zedd went into the studio and actually worked on a production. it (Like G.U.Y) would have been much better.
