If Gaga wants to do something, let her do so. If it fails, then that's on her (and she probably won't care, anyway- she seems really happy about it). Precisely. Let's face it, Gaga's fan base is pretty diverse, and a lot of people would like to see her do a lot of different things. Ultimately, the decision on what kind of music she's going to make is Gaga's. Melech 9,900 Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 who even trusts when she's happy any more anyway? every 2 minutes she says "i'm the happiest i've ever been" "i'm so excited about -" "i can finally do things my way! i was carrying a ball and chain in the past but not now!" i guarantee in six months she'll be saying that tony bennett forced her to do the cheek to cheek album because he said if she doesn't do it he'll die a sad man and it'll be all her fault. and her label who are good friends with tony's family signed a contract binding her into doing it behind her back. the curly wig was her way of saying "okay, you want me to pretend i'm into something i'm not? i'll wear a huge wig and tell everyone this is the genre in which i belong". she was being somebody else. but not now!!!!!! she's free now!!!!! rinse and repeat. :nooo: Oh yeah, remember how "she" chose DWUW to be the second single? And remember how "fun" and "exciting" working on that video was? And remember how "happy"e was when she was releasing applause, just to say 2 months later that she was misrable and her fans healed her? Some of u are so f*cking delusional it hurts. Its annoying sometimes, but it's a forum so you can't dictate how others will feel. People are always going to have different opinions and you have to keep on mind that some users are younger, and not as mature. Gaga's music is mainly pop so you have to realize that some people don't care for this kind of music. And because it's a discussion board, they have the right to express that. I for one am sort of excited, and I don't care what others feel about the album lol. So be ****ing grateful and support her whether you disagree with some of her decisions. So people aren't allowed to disagree? This is what its all about, but it's too much for some people I guess.. It's not about Gaga the artist her that I am talking about, I am talking about Gaga the person. People forget that there has never been a popstar of this magnitude so close to her fans that she's literally one tweet away. An inspiration, an beacon that saved many. But here ware are talking about a few months of a jazz album that seems to make her so happy. You don't have to ****ing kiss the ground she walks on but just that bit of decency to be like "you know what, do you Gaga, I'll sit back and watch" if you don't care about this project. I feel sad for her, literally as if she doesn't have enough people to answer to she now also has to face the ungrateful attitude of fans that just want her shut up and play another song. She was on the edge, and finally she finds something that fits her, something where she can be true to her roots (singing jazz since 13 lol) and then comes the fans who want another pop record... Like seriously, just wonder about that.. **** the charts, **** pop, **** jazz if GAGA isn't okay, if SHE isn't happy with what she's doing! I don't care if you like his opinion or not, but don't say that he knows nothing about it when he only states his opinion. She has yelled on stages for wanting a better life for 80% of this base. She has addressed your issues in countries to the point that she got banned. She addressed your issues on high profile events and made people high ranked speak about it all the way to the president himself. She made make sneaky remarks about it even last night in Dubai where it isn't legal at all and dangerous on top. She does it all for YOU without being asked but that's what her heart tells her is right. This is also something her heart telling her is right and she gets this in return? @LouOrlando says the woman who cant take constructive criticism because her mouth is full of tony bennet's aging dick It's a ****ing disgrace and the sad part is, she will keep doing it and would do it all over again in a heartbeat because she cares about each and every one of you. Can't you ****ing give her the respect back and let HER enjoy this project with no strings attached, just something that will make HER happy for a few months? It's pathetic this situation! People with their own hopes and dreams and quests for a happy life. Entertainment is an occupation, it's not who they are... not really. Underneath Gaga's professional image is a good, kind person with strong traditional family values who personally tries to do what she can to help people. When people make mean comments, think of the nice person whose feelings may be hurt. If Gaga hoped to do one thing but later changed her mind, consider this; circumstances change, the environment surrounding Gaga changes, sound advice comes in from trusted professionals, and some of her plans are disallowed by her label or management. We don't know her situation, we are not in her shoes, but we do know that Gaga really cares and would not change her plans unless the reason was compelling. Even if Gaga produced something I really disliked I would be happy if Gaga was happy. After everything this wonderful person has given over the years, she deserves all the happiness in the world and all the best that life can bring. Cut her some slack we don't know the reasons it's a bit too easy to judge from behind a screen when we have no clue what's happening in her life behind closed doors. No, artists lie all the time, because they have to from their label or management or idk what...+ you don't know the background story behind it It's not that big of a deal, we're all humans and every one of us will lie when it comes to business! What really matters is her relationship with the fans, with us - can you not feel that? When she comes on that stage, I think she could sing a ****ing song for a 5 year old, I wouldn't care, I'm all about her emotions and her stage presence and her voice and her words for us!
