Tbh, if I was Gaga I would retire, just to get away from all the negativity. So many fans don't care about Gaga and her happiness, they only care about themselves. They don't care that she is a very kind person who tries to help others. Instead, they treat her like a machine to crank out exactly what they want. Gaga made herself, with her talent, her vision, and her very hard work. Her fans did not make Gaga, she did. She is very intelligent and very talented. She doesn't need this fanbase, she could succeed in life in many ways. Fans should consider this; their hate and negativity could drive her away. I live outside the space time continuum. I care a lot about her as a person, not only as a pop artist, so I'm worried about her when she says she's unhappy. I'm glad she's happy now, it's honestly all that matters to me. People have a right not to like jazz (I personally have never been a fan of jazz but I want to discover it thanks to Gaga, maybe it'll have the same impact on me, who knows ?), but there's absolutely no need to be so hateful and rude towards her. Let's give this album a chance, not to follow what others do or the critics, but for Gaga. That's what I'm doing and I'm very excited to hold this album in my hands on September 22nd. I am NOT constantly b---hing about how I wish Gaga would do another Pop record, because it is Gagas decision what she wants to do in her career. I will just wait and see what happens. If she wants to make Jazz, then I will just wait for the next Pop record. And of course I will listen to some of the Jazz songs during the wait, who knows, maybe I will come to like them? I haven't been on the site very long, but the amount of stupidity and selfishness I've witnessed grosses me out. She should be able to live her own life without getting slack from her "fans" whenever she does something that doesn't one hundred percent align with what they want. People want another successful pop album so that they can hold their head high when they say they are a fan of GaGa. If Cheek to Cheek wins a Grammy i bet all the fans that dragged her for having a jazz album will stan over her again. All these people make it about them, when in fact we are lucky enough to have an artist like her that loves us anyway. We are privileged enough to hear her music, and music in general, hell LIFE in general would be a lot harder for all of us (queer fans anyway) had GaGa never come into the limelight... I just pray she doesn't read some of the stuff her fans write about her because no person deserves that kind of backlash for just doing what they want to do artistically. So either be patient through this era if jazz really isn't your thing, or stop following her at all because us real fans just want a community that loves her unconditionally.
