Katy and her team planned the entire PRISM era around ARTPOP, knowing this is Gaga's low point and using the comparisions to build Katys image up. She's one of the most manipulative people in the industry. How was she to know the audience and even many fans weren't going to like ARTPOP that much. Gaga came in with very high predictions for first week sales. Katy had no way of knowing how it was all going to fall out. For all she knew, Gaga had another Fame Monster going to slay the world. Swift seems like such a genuine girl who's just trying to have fun. The RS interview was very informative. Of course they won't and they will try to sabotage her.
