Travis 543
Then you're posting in this thread about "gay marriage (LOL, whatever the quotation marks are supposed to mean ) becassssuuuuse......???? Honestly confused by every single thing in that sentence. All I said was don't be surprised because it's a Southern state and then you came at me with all this crap. While yes, there are a few exceptions with other conservative states, a majority of Southern states strongly oppose same-s-x marriage due to religious beliefs. Which is why I'm not surprised by this judge's ruling.

Luiz 4,253
Virginia was part of the Confederacy yet it's not southern enough for you? VA is a southern state lol. And if you wanted a refresher on the Bible Belt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bible_Belt (hint: Virginia (with the exception of the DC metropolitan area) is included!) Also I forgot Indiana which is also considered to be apart of the Bible Belt (mostly). Oh and also you completely skipped over Arkansas which stuck down its ban on same-s-x marriage the other month. If you're having trouble keeping up with current events, this link may help you. Look at the map. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-s-x_marriage_in_the_United_States yeah wasnt richmond virginia the capital of the confederacy? I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.
