RIP to one of the bigger celebrity influences of my life <3

You taught me to never take myself, or others, too seriously. If you can make anyone laugh, you helped make their day just a little bit better, no matter what they're going through, how to make jokes about peoples clothes and how to read a b---h.

I'll miss you, and hope that when I take your job one day I can make you proud, <3

Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.

Actually, I have to agree with MJHoland here. She wasn't always the nicest lady. It just saddens me that the media and hollywood always feels like they have to portray someone as a Great and Legend, when she frequently made fun of others during her life.

This does not in any way mean that I don't feel sorry for her loved ones, and her fans that lost her.

Its just why do we always have to honor and love those who have passed? when the truth is in life, maybe they weren't that great?

Except she was a legend and a great. Yes, she was an insult comic, but that doesn't make her any less of a legend. She broke down barriers and had one of the most prolonged careers Hollywood has ever seen. She's incomparable. Undoubtedly a great and a legend.

Not here to disagree or agree with you.

I think I just didn't get her sense of humor. I watched some videos just now, and still don't find her funny. That is just IMO though, and do not mean to offend anyone who appreciated and loved her.

I respect that you didn't appreciate her humor, but her legacy and influence isn't to be questioned.

It can be questioned privately, but perhaps not publicly.

The fact that every celebrity on ever red carpet will be asked "Who are you wearing?" is evidence enough of her legacy.
