I don't really talk about her to people, and people know I like her. I'm not as huge as a fan anymore, so I don't care if people judge me for it.

anybody knows you can conjure anything by the dark of the moon

Yeah. When I wore my Applause t shirt today at school, everyone gave me weird looks :toofunny: I've learned to not care anymore. Most of my friends think she's weird and my best guy friend still thinks she's a transvestite :awkney:

It's science, bitch

Eh my friends don't even like pop so after I showed them swine they were like "word? This goes hard." I'm not gonna be playing Sex Dreams or MANiCURE though lol.

Never, everyone who I've spoke to about music knows I like her. If she comes up in conversation (which is close to never now :emma: ) people might occasionally judge her but it doesn't bother me, half the time there's a little truth behind it :rip: most recently, I was playing Mary Jane Holland in my friend's flat, she asked what I was playing and when I told her it was Gaga she replied "is this an old song?" So I told her it was new and her reply was "Oh, I thought she retired" :Sharon:

For some reason I never correlated Gaga and gays (even though she's obviously an activist but it's more of an afterthought for me). So in my first two years of college, I would tell people I'm a huge fan and they would think I'm gay too just cause of that. I mean I didn't share with everyone cause it's embarrassing that I stan for a commercial pop singer when most if my friends listen to hip hop but I never expected to be judged like that- not that it's bad just never thought about it that way

Gaga is one of a number of musicians that interest me. And most of my friends and family really don't care.

I was never judged. My description in the senior notable section of the yearbook had her in it :legend:

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

In high school (TF-BTW) people just thought I was a tad crazy for liking her and they would playfully tease about Gaga, ex. Did you know Lady Gaga has a penis :troll:? And I would always refer them to the Telephone MV. Hahaha. I was never seriously judged besides maybe them thinking I was gay? But people at my HS were nice so I didn't care. The first time I was really judged (that I know of) was just a week ago. I was walking to my bus stop to meet up with my friend and some guy driving by saw my artRave shirt and asked if I was gay because the shirt made me look like it. :fthis:  Rudest b---h I've ever encountered. But so far in college I haven't experienced anything (It's only been 3 days though :emma: ).

I don't feel the need to talk about her unless I'm talking to a fellow Gaga fan. Music is more of an individual thing for me, not a group thing. I do love having similar interests with people though.

I saw a guy with an Applause t-shirt at school one day and I really wanted to go talk to him, but I am terrible at approaching strangers. Was that you? :emma:

Liking Gaga was never a problem 2008-2010

2011, there were a couple of people who challenged my interest in her, mainly having to do with her authenticity as an artist and a gay rights activist and, tbh, I didn't really know enough about Gaga to put up a good fight, especially before the You and I era.

Everything post BTW era is pretty neutral. For the most part, people know she's talented and they know she's a good person.

Some people even still think she's the new queen of pop meme_3871.jpg
