But it's interesting to me at least :shrug:Not everything has to be US vs. the world.

Isn't the article this thread is based on about UK vs US from a biased american though?

How good or bad a country is has **** all to do with money, if you want money, it's easily attainable all you have to do is work. It's quite clear that the UK is the better place to live, frankly, it ****s all over the USA. In my opinion, the USA lacks character and history, the houses are ugly, the laws are unintelligible, the education is bizzare and it just generally would be **** to live their compared to the UK

!!!

Honestly, we have free health care, a free education system where everyone is given the opportunity to attend University and a rich history and culture. The US is full of religious nutjobs and psychos shooting up playschools and cinemas. I'm glad I don't live there.

Yes, but the facts about GDP and stuff are interesting. Obviously money isn't everything when it comes to how living somewhere is.

The generalization :smh:

I feel sorry for people who invest so much hate into a country they don't even live in.

That doesn't mean we have to turn the thread into a "**** THE US! **** THOSE REDNECK RELIGIOUS BASTARDS! MY COUNTRY ****S ON THE WORLD!" thread.

Mmm because I did that.

Generally if someone makes a thread that is directly throwing shade at a country, members from that country will defend it. Especially when it's made so easy and they compare a great country with the US

Economy

But Britain is not even that rich. :awkney:

If you look at its GDP on a Per Capita basis im not even sure it cracks the top 20 and if it does its close to the bottom

And the US in proportional terms (wealth per citizen) is not the richest but i believe its in the low top 10s/ high top 20s according to most rankings

It does have a bigger income gap than most developed Countries tho so i dont know if the average middle class person is necessairily better in the States than in many other Developed Nations
