Yes most definitely :) and it will be better than anything she has ever done ...hopefully

Here's what I think she should do:

After the era is done, Where one crazy outfit. Lady Gaga ain't gaga without her fashion. Update us with what she's working on. No need for any blackouts. Something like what she did with GAGAVISION.

Release a crazy ass song

Come out with a magical music video.

Put on a magical performance.

Keep releasing singles even if they don't top the charts. She won't break boundaries if she doesn't release the music

Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

I'm not the OP but....

Because it is OBVIOUS that she STARVES for commercial success. And also she is talanted and she deserves success but does not know how to get it.

Are you sure it isn't the stans who starve for commercial success? I'm sure she's fine with getting money from the tours and perfumes and merchandise....it's the stans who crave commercial success to feel better about supporting their faves and have receipts to shove in the face of other stan bases.

Little Bottoms want some pop music to play while having s-x. Thats why they can't stand a jazz album and are talking about the end of Lady Gaga. Please, stop. Give her time. Only by exploring herself, Gaga will find a correct path. Who knows, maybe after a jazz album she will show her lyrical side and drop us an unplugged album, with a lot of Dope type songs. She will slay. But of course, there will be also haters, who need club music to shake their asses off. Anyway, give her time. She is my princess. ****ing respect her. Or I'm gonna get you when you are sleeping.  :koons:

Fans are too but Gaga is way more. And how many more years is she gonna make  money from tours? Its a fact that with every year  things are getting worse- selling tickets, let alone merchandise. Do you remember het tweets when Applause came out? Do you remember her saying that With ARTPOP she is coming for rings and navals?

I think an album full of dopes will just dig the hole deeper.

Yes, I think she will have a huge comeback in the future

And I think it would be when she releases a pop/rock/acoustic song that showcases her singing and piano abilities or  an incredibly catchy yet clever and good quality son, but she also needs to bring back her elaborated/artistic performances

Anyone who thinks she does not want greater commercial success than what ARTPOP as is kidding themselves. She speaks negatively about the era, blaming the old management who misused her time for the commercial failure that was the DWUW/Venus situation. This reaction is attributed to her desire for commercial success and unhappiness that she did not get it with ARTPOP. She also made G.U.Y. a music video that would appeal to the masses and it was too little too late.

She does want a big comeback and she needs it.

Yes, the artRAVE is doing well, but sales are no where near as good as BTW Ball. She only has 2 shows in Sydney (not sold out) whereas last time she had 5. That is just an indicator.

Celebrities all have times of relevancy and irrelevancy, sometimes relevancy reoccurs, other times it just doesn't. Look at Maddonna's career for example, she's had eras where they've not been so successful, but she has managed to make a strong comeback and become relevant again many times now.

As long as the artists music adapts to the current taste of the GP, they're going to be successful.

G.U.Y is amazing, and I think that it is within the current taste of the GP. Why wasn't that successful?

I hope that an artist's tarnished name being attached to a potential hit song doesn't deter it from going to the top... I feel like that might be what happened with G.U.Y.

If she just delivered something well rounded and polished she could certainly have a respectable comeback. Its just a matter of whether or not she'll let herself instead of choosing to be contrary for the sake of being contrary. Thats the thing that frustrates me about her, she seems to know what people want and could deliver something that would gain her respect and mass consumption but she purposefully chooses to go slightly to the left I guess in her head to piss people off or because she thinks it makes her more unique. Im not sure. Theres something I can relate to in wanting to be opposite of everyone else and being very conscious of that, but at this point with her I kind of wish she would just....idk...be more sophisticated in her pop music without losing what makes her Lady Gaga? I felt thats what made The Fame Monster so great, it was her and it was pop but it felt somewhat sophisticated and chic both visually and musically (even when it was campy). But to some degree I think she wanted to stray far from that album to prove she can be successful in other ways. Kind of wish she'd stop trying to rebel against that and just be dope. I also think she needs to stop focusing on her backlash, it has to be overwhelming and an attack on the spirit, but for her career and her creative sanity I think she needs to just pull it together somehow and disregard it without being lame about it. Its easier said than done but I mean it is what it is.

TBH, ARTPOP seems to cater to the GP though. Every song is radio friendly...

I think she got into the whole **** POP MUSIC thing when she noticed that ARTPOP wasn't doing so hot.

I really dont understand why every one thinks a break will do her so bad. Releasing 4 albums in the span of 5-6 years is pretty over saturating. I think a significant break (3+ years) will give the GP a real reason to miss her and what she brings to pop music, especially since the current pop scene seem to be moving in a really boring direction atm  in which gaga dosent really fit in anywhere. It will also give her time to reconstruct her image, really plan and execute an immaculate new era and wait for that next big single to come to her. As much as I love ARTPOP, it just didnt have an instant relate-able smash hit like Bad Romance, which is what she really needed to win back the GP. All in all, I have great faith and trust that gaga will sustain these roadbumps, because unlike alot of popstars, she's got an immense amount of talent, and a core die hard following that will be with her through thick and thin.

Applause is on par with Bad Romance, in my opinion...

Gaga is following in Beyonce's footsteps. 4 had a similar impact to ARTPOP and similar reception "meh.. move on...".

But through having an excellent PR team, Beyonce managed to use that blip to catapult herself to legendary status. This is what Gaga is doing.

We will see through the album/s with Tony that she will get Grammys and critical praise. People will be fawning over her as a musician because it's toned down, not the same, and giving promo without giving typical Gaga-ness that people grow wary of.

After all this hype (perfume, Jazz albums, grammys, etc) and lord knows what else is in store - she'll be getting drooled over. People will be dying for new music.

Plus, I think she's smart enough to know that she needs the best team possible around her. She also needs to be a bit of a bandwagoner and get some features on her album that are going to help sell it. Not R Kelly and 2 short, but (if she were releasing today) Iggy, Ariana, Nicki, etc. Or take advantage of people that WANT to collab with her, or get unexpected people who are fans who would probably collab - Adele, Aguilera, Rihanna, etc.

I honestly think the next pop album should kick off with a full plan of action behind it. Videos recorded, the whole nine yards. Not released all at once, but released in the traditional sense - but just so the vids are ready. Professional video makers - Jonas Akerlund for the love of god!

Can you imagine Gaga starting an album campaign releasing something along the lines of JD/PF with a fun video like BDR/JD? Then following it up pre-album with a Rihanna Collab that has a big name producer on the track and the video made by Jonas Akerlund?

She just needs great PR and some restraint/control/direction. We know the formula that made her big and can make her big again - she seems oblivious.

THIS.

I have a better question to the author of this thread

Shes happy with everything that she has got and... why do you want her huge comeback so bad?

We all know that we want to see our favorite artist on the top.

That's how fans and fan bases work. We always want the best for our idol. They represent us and vice versa. Not necessarily literally, but emotionally. Regardless of whether or not she makes a comeback, I will be a loyal fan forever. The fans that feel the same way are the only true fans.

In a sense it's like cheering for your favorite sports team. You ALWAYS want them to win. Get it?

I don't know if she wants to have a huge comeback right now. She seems really happy with Tony and Cheek to Cheek.

I'm just hoping she continues with Pop albums, because that's why I love her. But if she starts doing Jazz/Rock/Acoustic I'll still support it. All I can really say is the next couple of years will be interesting in seeing where Gaga goes.
