Ouch, only 16GB iPhone 6 Plus left... Rest are either 7-10 days or 3-4 weeks in the UK.

I just spent 20 minutes on live chat with O2 asking how you upgrade a sim only tariff - and if I would have to get a new sim card to allow for 4G data.

I then spoke to them for 15 minutes and they didn't answer my question, but were about to sign me up over the chat to a new tariff without my permission.

 

So I just said, "thanks but no thanks, I'll change it online later: and left the chat. I'll sign into my account later and no doubt be already subscribed to the new tariff.

Apple has set a new record for iPhone orders with todays iPhone 6 and 6 Plus pre-orders.

 

An Apple representative who spoke to Re/code mentioned that a new record had been set, but did not comment on the number of devices that were sold.
