Animal rights activists protest during H&M fashion show

PETA activist was noticed Thursday night at the H&M Fashion Show London. She wore high heels and held a poster accusing H&M of cruelty for using wool.

Some activists appeared on the H&M&YOU&I: A Fashion Story show taking place at Olympia. They protested against the use of wool and other animal products, while security personnel escorted them peacefully out of the event after their appearance.

According to the Free Press Journal, three different activists appeared on the stage of Kensington Olympia on September 17, while PETA UK informed that their slogans read, "H&M: Wool is BLOODY Cruel. Drop It!"

The only problem with PETA is while their objectives are admirable and I don’t even have a problem with their methods. They’re basically the stereotype of what people assume vegans/woke people are and they don’t leave room for nuance whatsoever. They’re too black and white. People don’t like black and white judgement or decisions.

I’ll look more into this but sheep NEED sheared for their health and there are self-shearing sheep too. Of all animal by-products. This isn’t one I’m pressed about at all. And before y’all come for me, I know multiple sheep farms because I make yarn and knit/crochet. The sheep are fine

They say shearing in this instance was cruel‚ not that it's universally a bad practice.

While this is a good reason PETA is against all wool because they do not believe there’s an ethical way of obtaining it
