sarahb 16,411
I would say Avengers might be around longer knowing it is consisted of more popular and familiar super heroes than Guardians. Butvanyway, try to ask your friends if they got time for watching the films some time and put it in schedule Yeah they all definitely know about it, its just been difficult trying to organise a time since there's 7 of us and we all have uni and some of us also have work so we're all pretty busy. I'll try not to worry too much at the moment though since it only came out here less than a week ago. Do you feel him sir?

Spock 20,290
Really cool article about Marvel's rise to slayagehttp://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-32379661It also raised this valid and interesting pointBut Howe says Marvel's history holds a warning for the future."The narrative snowball of Marvel - the way that everything accumulates - means it gets bigger and more popular but also more unwieldy," he says."That happened in the comic books. With all the crossovers, everything became completely uninviting to the new fan. Eventually, Marvel had to hit the reset button and start over again, because you couldn't hold all of it in your head."Ironically, that could be the biggest danger to the success of the movies. There are so many storylines that you have to navigate in telling this bigger story, that eventually fatigue sets in - especially with people who are not already 100% on board.I went to see Age of Ultron with a friend of mine who had seen the first one but no other Phase 2 movies and she was a bit lost. Of course they won't ever reset but just yeah, thought for your thoughts who will love me when the night is over

Of course they won't ever reset but just yeah, thought for your thoughtsI think most people who watches Avengers mostly read or know the big picture of this universe at the very least.Ofc there are some casual fans that watch because it is interesting for them, so yes they might find themselves a bit lost in such large universe that is MCU.Not to mention there will be some more members to join coming Phase 3 like Black Panther, Ant-Man (though the first film will be the closing film for phase 2) and so on.So the article got a point but might not a major issue imho. I mean, I love it, I hope they won't decomplicate things to appeal to a broader audience (at the same time, I don't think it can get much broader), but I just hope it won't crush under it's weight in years to come who will love me when the night is over

It is easiest way out for business like this, keep the fans happy and still gain profits
