The Washington Post this morning:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2014/08/18/brown-family-attorneys-autopsy-showed-michael-brown-was-trying-to-surrender-when-he-was-killed/?Post+generic=%3Ftid%3Dsm_twitter_washingtonpost

Autopsy likely shows that Brown was surrendering when he was shot SIX TIMES.

Taylor don't even try with these people. They only post things in favor of the "kid" that attacked the officer and shut down any facts in favor of the officer.
They'll just keep coming at you. They can state their opinions, but if yours aren't in line with theirs you can't post it without being attacked.

We live 20 minutes from here so we get it, but people in this thread are clueless about what is actually happening.

That's completely unfair. There are many here that are keeping an open mind, and who don't "hate the police". I'm following this story closely, and while the incident proves that there are indeed racial problems and discrimination in this area, I'm still reserving my judgment on the shooting until we get more information.

I live in an area much like the one you live in and also have many friends in the St. Louis area, and they don't feel the same way you and Taylor do.

"Dr. Baden, 80, is a well-known New York-based medical examiner, who is one of only about 400 board-certified forensic pathologists in the nation. He reviewed the autopsies of both President John F. Kennedy and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and has performed more than 20,000 autopsies himself."

"No sign of a struggle."

Predictions for Pres. Obama's speech? Something brief or in-detail?

I'm being unfair? LOL OKAY. You clearly weren't here when i had 7 people attacking me calling me racist.

Nobody in this thread is "keeping an open mind". And all of the "news" and articles in this thread are completely biased.

You saying this thread is "keeping an open mind" is truly laughable.

Your blanket statement concerning everyone participating in this thread was unfair.

Reallly? You know whether I'm keeping an open mind, in regards to the shooting incident, or not?

I've been reading every single comment. Not one comment or article posted suggests anyone keeping an open mind. If you are, i really appreciate it and I apologize for suggesting that you weren't, but nearly every other person in this thread not.

And they wanted to keep this thread open to keep people "updated" but it's completely biased.

Their blanket statement about all officers is unfair. Their statements that anyone siding with the officer is racist is unfair. Attacking someone at all sides with a different opinion is unfair. Posting news and articles that only favor Michael Brown is unfair.

You know what else is unfair? People equating protesters as "animals", which I've seen more than once, at least once on this thread.

*For the most part, elementary schools are closed in Ferguson due to tensions. This lady below is a teacher and wants to go back to work! Lol

The peaceful protesters are fine. More power to them. I commend them for their efforts. But Everyone else are acting like animals. It's true. Sad that they take advantage of situations like these. Most of them don't even live in Ferguson. They're in it for themselves rather than Michael Brown which is saddening.

Of course, the looters. Who have been stopped by protesters standing outside several establishments, as No Angel has posted. But unsurprisingly, some people ignored it and continued conflating the two as "animals." Talk about blanket statements.

If you're referring to me as "some people" calling all protesters animals then you're wrong. If that's not what you're saying, then i don't know why you're telling me this.

Also, you apparently have no comment about what i said a few posts above.

I've lost the will to argue with people on this thread. If you have questions, concerns, or things you want to bring up, do so. If you want a user to elaborate on what they're saying, please reply to them in a respectful manner. If you claim you don't feel like explaining yourself, and you're still in this thread lurking, just go or explain your peace and leave without being funny.

Like I've said three-hundred times before, if you're genuinely concerned, let's talk. If you're looking for a fight, go. I don't want this thread being closed for a second time.
