I'm not about to sit and argue with you but Gaga's success is being cemented in history,whether you want to see it or not,if you're a real Gaga fan or not,and whether you like it or not. Nobody knows if Gaga will be around in the future or not,but if she is,then you can eat your words.

In what way are Madonna's fans any more delusional than Gaga's? Jumping straight to the insults doesn't do any good.

 

Of course she'll be around in the future in reality (if that's what she wishes) but she is slipping in terms of success, that's an undeniable statistical fact. So the person almost 30 years into her career and in her 50s is doing as well (in terms of album sales) roughly as the person only 6 years in. That doesn't look like someone coming to quickly claim Madonna's "throne".

 

"Cemented in history" really depends on how you define history, in one way yes of course it'll be recorded and remembered, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be the benchmark or the pinnacle, especially in the latter years of her.

Absolutely. Madonna won't be around forever,which her delusional fans should realize right quick that someone will snatch it when least expected,and I hope that someone is Gaga,which it will.

 

That space performance would be the thing that will solidify it imo. But if she won't get the title "queen", what would her title be?????

These titles are a complex Americans have with superiority and royalty. No other country in the world gives their artists titles like that, even though many countries have more influential and important musicians.

So, in reality, it's not really a title, but a sort of nickname for a specific artist. MJ will always be the "King of Pop" and Madonna will always be the "Queen of Pop".

That doesn't mean that we can't find a title for Gaga and coin it, and eventually transform it into her maninstream title, like "Goddess of Pop" which isn't taken.

Pop royalty titles aren't transferable. In any case they don't mean anything, so why bother? Stop this American complex
