destructivelove 523 Posted July 18, 2014 Author Share Posted July 18, 2014 It's the same all around the world not sure what you mean about censorship would you give an example? the difference being that the FCC and other censorship agencies in America tend to censor s-xual material and nudity to an extreme degree, but have no problem showing violence, images of people being killed, shows glamorizing fighting and death, graphic war material etc... Where as European countries tend to see s-x and nudity as more of a natural and beautiful and human ideal, and tend to censor graphic violence more. It sets the ideal in our country that nudity and being proud of your body and expressing yourself is a bad thing, and that violence is something that is inevitable, normal, and okay. That is why we have far more mass shootings, violence, and careless gun violence in our country. People who are mentally unstable start to get desensitized to violence and crime. Desensitization is a real thing. Look it up. And at the same time, people who want to take pride in the body they were born with, and be free of our country's standards are the ones who end up getting treated like sluts, *****s, and s-x fiends. I live in Europe , in Greece and nudity is censored much more than violence as well :( , Propably what you said is for central Europe and not east european flop countries .
