Sadly tho, the student one, was trying to go back to Java because she wanna visit her mother's grave. I think it's really disrespectful. When nearly 300 people have lost their lives, it doesn't matter where they're from and that shouldn't dictate how people feel about the tragedy. Obviously I understand that people have to be identified and it needs to be made clear in the media where people concerned incase someone they know was onboard can contact for help, but I've been reading some articles that practically fail to mention the 300 on the flight as a whole and just concentrate on the ones from their country and I think it's disgusting. I've read several news articles and they all stated that professionals are 100% positive that a commercial flight can not be mistaken with a military one. Agreed. Some people are just incapable of caring about an incident like this unless there's something close to home, like a few people of their own country. And only then they're shocked, because it reminds them that it could've happened to them too. I guess it's not people's fault if they think that way, but yeah, it bothers me too. Agree totally! All I've heard on Australian news is how 28 Australians died, it's like what about the 277 others! I'm quite interested to see how Putin will reply now that many have spoke out against Russia after this. I agree with what Tony Abbott said earlier today about him simply blaming it all on Ukraine cause it happened their as stupid and not good enough. I have seen news from Australia and statements coming from people down there and they pretty much just mention the Australians that lost their lives. I never said that the dutch news is solely only talking about the dutch victims, I only mention that it isn't stange that they are focusing more on the dutch on board.
