Hollywoodlight 0
Cause they only factored in the first 14 shows and the tour started in May Katy's started a week after artRave...
Arturo 40,746
Katy's started a week after artRave... Katy's started 2 days after artRAVE. And why does it matter? Katy made $7M more than Gaga with her 22 shows in arenas than Gaga did in her 14 shows in arenas and 7 shows at a theater (which is basically equivalent to 1 arena show with the amount of $$ it made). Plus, Katy's first 16 shows were in the U.K. Tickets are more expensive there. And trust me I'm being as objective as possible because I'll be the first one to call someone out on incorrect info they say about Katy in an attempt to drag her. I'm just being honest when I say that $7M advantage isn't necessarily something to be making a big deal over when considering how many shows are being factored in and the venues that she played them in. I'm just trying to be objective. Let's just wait for the complete official tour data of the major artists tourists and see where all they all land. Those 7 shows at Roseland grossed the equivalent of 1.5 arena shows. It really ISN'T fair to count them as 7 shows so they can lower her have gross and attendance when they aren't even part of the tour.
Guest
Beaten by everyone WW, oh dear. She's only done one show outside of North America, be patient... :smh:

Well just because you wouldn't pollster has and as it is sort of part of the tour as it was like a first taste of what to expect - it definitely promoted the tour. You can't say those shows shouldn't be counted just because they were in smaller venues. So should we count stadiums as 2 or 3 shows as they attract more more people than arenas? A show is a show regardless if it is in front of 1 person or 100000 people.

They're just not part of the tour Gaga's playing 2 theaters in Paris but they're part of artRAVE so that's obviously acceptable. That's like including Britney's Piece of Me residency shows in the Femme Fatale tour gross. Her Roseland residency is NOT part of artRAVE. You can't say "it's a taste of what to expect" and suddenly make it become part of artRAVE. If you can't understand that then sorry, it's all I'm saying on the matter. This only included the first 14 shows in North America Not the other 21 shows in North America or the 1 she just did in Japan
