If the latter paragraph is aimed at me, Madonna isn't even my fave and I'm not even defending her, a lot of gaga fans are just very easily annoyed at Madonna's undeniable successes and her position in the pop-industry. It's unfortunate that they've been pitted against each other (madonna and gaga) as they're both very good all round performers and artists, but it's clear who will come out on top, in hindsight. I'm not sure how any of this proves my immaturity though, you can explain if you like though Nobody here is annoyed at Madonna's undeniable success. Madonna's time was decaded before Gaga's. What makes us angry are Madonna stans who spread hatred and lies towards gaga. Not madonna. Not her success. No one gives a **** about her career here. Get that through your thick skull. It's immature that you come here to defend Madonna when this conversation has nothing to do with her. You bring her up with no valid reason, just to compare her to gaga. THAT'S whats immature. Gaga has the right to be proyd of her success. And defend her credibility when it's questioned. How on earth do you find a reason to be against it?? Were the "journalists" reporting this seriously stupid enough to think that Gaga, an intelligent woman, would steal a photo from another festival and try to pass it off as her own? Anybody with a basic understanding of the Internet knows that these things can't go undetected, especially not when you're one of the world's biggest pop stars. I'm certain the majority of the media and commenters discussing this knew she just made an honest mistake. But as per, they jumped on the Gaga-hate train because it's what all the cool kids are doing nowadays. I do not blame Gaga in the slightest for defending herself. Did she act a bit childishly? Maybe, but it's better than staying quiet and letting people drag your name through the mud. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! Just because she retweeted a poster of Promote Online Kindness and started a hashtag doesn't mean she is a martyr. She's put up with a lot. I have never seen any other artist who is as kind, peaceful and nice as she is, there's a point when a person can not handle anymore bulls**t. She's one of the most (or even the most) criticized pop-stars nowadays, she can be as nice as she wants but she is still gonna get criticized for it, and it's becoming PATHETIC how everybody tries to drag her down. IT IS NOT A COMPETITION, learn to appreciate what this artist has brought to you: music, entertainment and LGBT visibility. And of course you are entitled to your own opinion, but maybe if you'd tone that scepticism down, it might be of any worth. Sorry for the mild off-topic but I thought it was necessary as some people are sudden festival a--lysts (and Madonna stans it seems) and totally capable of emitting a psychological diagnosis of Lady Gaga's work/ethics.
