I'm not sure I totally understand what ARTPOP is about

Maybe she just wants to say that everyone is free to interpret it the way they want to. ARTPOP could mean anything, based on your personal feelings and what you went through in life.

That's just a wild guess tho, I think the execution of the theme wasn't good and it all got lost.

Now a lot of people are just sick of her telling everyone that everything she does is art, and I totally understand why.

Just let art be art and stop telling us you're an artist, let us decide..

Oh and I asked myself the same about Bloody Mary, it's my fave Gaga song but for me it always symbolized loyalty. Like even if the one I love is gone and everybody is against me and my opinions, I stand by what I've said and done and who I really am, even if it means they will throw their stones

Well the main point of ARTPOP wasn't just the music, it was more like a project. She collaborated with many great artists (Jeff Koons, Marina Abramovic) , artists that a significance of her fanbase had never heard before. The 'reverse warholian experience' she constantly talked about is exactly what she tried to achieve, make art even more accessible, bring it to the masses in a way. I get a feeling that she abandoned the whole idea right after the album release though.

The album is just great pop music.

This. Right after the album release, the concept was robbed by Gaga herself. She was bringing art to masses. How many of you knew about artists and artworks she had been referring to? Unfortunately, pop music doesn't always support art.

About music: I have never felt this before, but with AP every song has its own world and dimension. It's like every song lives by itself. This is the art of creation
