beepeepz 0
When a woman is in a vulnerable state (such as being told by a doctor that the only way to walk again is to let him have s-x with her), is a yes really a yes? oh my god. I did not think of it that way. I got to think about this.
alposnacks 1
What people think is happening: R. Kelly d--gs Gaga and does what he wants with her What is actually happening: R. Kelly d--gs Gaga and, in her d--g-induced, unconscious world, all of this s-xual stuff happens, as in a dream. This is hinted at with Gaga flirting with R. Kelly in the beginning. Michael 533
People are completley misinterpreting the intentions of it and the message behind it.
feelitinmybones 0
I kind of looked at it as if she is telling the ("you" in the song) media to f*ck with her ("my body" in the song) (twerking on her, eating lobsters on her), like giving them permission (even though they would screw with her regardless of permission or not) that way she is more empowered- she is letting them do it all now. Or maybe I'm just looking too deep into this

Putin 0
Gaga exactly knew why this video should have never seen the daylight.
Willy Wonka 4
I wouldn't call consent "semantics", Willy When they call R Kelly's reputation "not the point here"... We're playing semantics about the content while ignoring the importance of the context. Consent is very important. Obviously. You know me. But we're ignoring the people involved when that's arguably the biggest issue.
13VictorC 1,102
It is an ad for discussing rape, not for promoting it. It brings attention to a topic that should be discussed more openly in our society in order for us to begin dealing properly with it.

I don't understand
gagarunner 0
Anyone who says that the video is 'an ad for rape' or 'glamorizes rape' is a complete idiot. Is it a smart video to release--hell no, would she have gotten insane backlash from it--absolutely. But the video is not 'an ad for rape'
Willy Wonka 4
So it's a less "rapey" song when she sings it with Christian Aguilera? I don't understand Yeah. Actually yeah. (Plus the lyrics make more sense) But when you say "do what u want with my body" with two alleged rapists... Come on. You're not daft.
katyperry2 1
I completely agree. She literally says "Do what u want with my body". Plus, that's not even what the song is about. It's about the critics. So I think they should just release the video and anyone who has a problem with it can just say whatever they want
