Hermes 0
You said only few will know about it. I just wanted to point out that these "few" are bigger than "mass" of people who know AP Everyone is aware of ARTPOP. The fact that only a few of them actually bought it doesn't mean they ignore it's existence. They promo was big during this era (videos, live performances, awards shows, tv shows etc) ppl just didn't want to buy it.
RAMROD 109,253
Yes it could. Her ARTJAZZ could mean anything. Ziva 193
Yes, I think they will realise how talented she actually is
What 4
Yes, I care about Gaga's success because I think she deserves global recognition for her amazing, versatile talent. Is that so freaking wrong? She already has global recognition. Greats are praising her everywhere, why care about what some grubby guy living in a flat thinks about her? Who cares if other people like it
djBuffoon 12,115
Making better music will change the public's opinion of her, along with better style choices and music videos. Welcome to my ignore list
TEANUS 14,966
It will showcase her talent from the way that snippet of the Frank Sinatra cover sounds British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
LaLuna 12,732
I don't know. I'm not 100% convinced people will be here for Cheek to Cheek. I just hope some of them will be able to realize how ballsy Gaga is for doing something most pop girls wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole.
giskardsb 12,565
Not really, it's not like the other Bennett duet got any buzz. This is an album tho so maybe it will or maybe it won't. I have a feeling that the album will either sell 5 copies or 5 million The Bennett duet album II got plenty of Buzz, just not among pop fans. Pop fans tend to be A) young and B) Insular. Oh, and a Grammy for "Best Traditional POP vocal album."
GagaXCupcakke 3,818
It will be considered a master piece but the GP will never hear it. Its jazz, no one listens to jazz.
Born To Slay 10,996
I don't know. I'm not 100% convinced people will be here for Cheek to Cheek. I just hope some of them will be able to realize how ballsy Gaga is for doing something most pop girls wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole. It will be considered a master piece but the GP will never hear it. Its jazz, no one listens to jazz. If the public know of its existence then possibly. But I wouldn't count of the public knowing about it; I don't think they even know about G.U.Y. her latest single - in fact everyone I know doesn't know about it This is why you double disc the album, people buy it for the pop songs and give the second disc a chance and realize how talented she is. CatelynnMarie 4,406
Remember it's not just Gaga's album, it's also Tony's. I'm sure there will be promo for it. I don't see it getting top 40 radio, but I see the older generation will most likely respect her more.
giskardsb 12,565
It's too bad so many of you see jazz as "old people" music. Good music is good music; some of you should do some jazz education and at least try to understand the genre. And try to remember that Jazz is not dead and the "GP" isn't all less than 18 years old... Michael Buble is one of the most popular entertainers on the planet, in spite of the fact that 90% of pop fans would have no clue who he is.
