Britney is literally one of the very few major pop stars who doesn't sing live. I will never understand why Gaga supports her despite saying things like "pop stars shouldn't fvcking lip synch." It's not about being a true fan or not, it's that you are literally dumb if you think Gaga lip syncs. Raise your IQ's. It's not about being a true fan or not, but it's that you are literally deaf and blind if you think that Gaga doesn't lip-synch choruses. Choruses are lip-synched (the loud backing track covers completely the live voice and all you can hear is the backing track, so in these cases lip-synching and singing over a loud backing track is the same thing because you can't hear her voice live). That's very common in live shows with heavy dance routines…. Everybody does it. Madonna does it (she actually lip-synchs also full songs in her shows and she uses a lot of pre-recorded vocals), even Beyonce is suspected to lip-synch some parts of her shows especially when she is dancing like crazy…. You are pretty basic if you don't know the difference between "backing tracks" in the choruses and Lip Synching. Gaga is talking about Lip Synching.
