This was written by John Norris. He was sitting next to me at the show last night at MSG. So cool to know we both were obsessed!!!!

That was so refreshing to read after the 10 months of undeserved bad press she's been getting

It's nice reading all these positive articles in the middle of this sea of negativity that's been with her since Applause was released.

Bless John  :applause: , there's points in the middle of reading where I wanted to just go 'Oh no you didn't just drag every b*tch'. Very well written, if only this was the trend over the critical articles that misinform completely and abuse stats for their own point.

Also, Gypsy for single #4

Even though I think parts of Gypsy sound annoying/cringey, as a whole it's a very genuine and beautifully written song. It's good knowing that some people can still see the value in Gaga even after her "cool" has worn off in public.

So take that, Kat!  :grr:

Yes drag that stupid ass b---h Kat Whatever.

John gets it. And considering that he has observed the industry for like two decades, I think that means something.

Love this part

"In five minutes with this woman you get much closer to something approaching a human being than with the large majority of the personality-challenged mannequins that pass as pop stars in 2014, whose primary job as best I can tell is to look and appear to use a word popular among the Beyhive  “flawless.†"

Great article. :applause: John Norris has seen a lot of acts come and go over the decades, so I feel his perspective seems more interesting than say, some random blogger from Thought Catalog.

I loved this too:

Give me flaws. Give me Swine.

I think that's part of why I like her, she's so messy at times, but you can tell there's real emotion there (which is the way I felt about Amy Winehouse, and also artists like Kanye and Courtney Love). She never bores me. Sure, it'd be easier to be a fan of someone "perfect", but perfection gets dull after a while. Some messiness, and a little crazy is so much more compelling. The artists that are bold enough put everything out there and into their lyrics and performances (no matter how seemingly bad of an idea it is) will always be far more interesting and easier to connect with than the flip side of that coin.

The article is longer than that. If you click on the link you can see that there is a second page.

It's a fantastic read and it's from MTV's John Norris, who interviewed her the day after SXSW.

Gaga gets far too much criticism, and sometimes it sounds like people who are genuinely disappointed in her product, but 99% of the times it's just people taking cheap shots and trying to make people forget that she's incredibly talented and still very successful.

I would trust anything this man says in the world of music. He has been in it for over 20 years (at least) now
