The problem is that the other side takes it to the extreme and in many places even lifting a hand towards your kids can have you arrested. It's just too much. I have to keep repeating: THIS PARTICULAR MOTHER IN THIS VIDEO WENT TOO FAR. I AM NOT CONDONING HER BAHAVIOR. IT WAS WRONG AND SHE SHOULD HAVE HANDLED IT DIFFERENTLY. If she had hit her like 4 times with that belt and scolded her it would have been just fine. Anyway, this entite thread is an interesting read. People and times change and usually smarten up. Because it happened in the old days does not make it better. They should know better by now.
