  1. Right now, she’s at a premiere party for Wednesday Part 2 - where Gaga herself finally confirms “The Dead Dance” is out September 3rd - alongside the series drop and a music video with Tim Burton as well.

  8. Netflix bosses are doing everything to keep Lady Gaga close. The artist has become a key piece for the streaming giant. According to the British newspaper The Sun, the platform shelled out a million-dollar amount to use just 30 seconds of 'LoveDrug' in the film "The Thursday Murder Club". Sources claim that the relationship between Gaga and Netflix has never been so strong and that the company's bosses are already planning new larger-scale projects with the artist. The move comes just a few weeks after the revelation that Gaga recorded "Dead Dance", an unreleased track made especially for the second part of the series "Wednesday". With these steps, Gaga becomes increasingly strategic for Netflix, which sees in the star a name capable of adding value and audience to its projects. They were so impressed with tudum that she's their darling now Imagine what doors this will open to her career And they are already paying her millions to use her songs in movies (lovedrug)

  10. Even without hearing the song, they spilled lmao. I feel like I see this dynamic on here all the time between folks who listen to a lot of music from a lot of different eras and genres who tend to appreciate Gaga’s virtuosity vs. people who seem to only really like it when she fits into a fairly narrow niche and tend to only listen to the pop music of the past 20 years.

  16. I feel like the Venus comparison has to be the melodic movement on the chorus (“When you touch me I die” vs. “When you killed me inside”) because I can’t imagine the production being similar lmao. But either way: the disco/funk fans stay winning

  19. Ngl, this fanbase is notoriously bad when it comes to music references They say it sounds like one thing, but when you actually hear it, you're like "Wtf was this person on?? It sounds nothing like that" From the snippet, it definitely sounds funky—along the lines of Zombieboy and Kill For Love. And it's definitely infectious...I've been singing the chorus to myself for weeks now

  20. the thing is, with the extreme amount of variants put on a time limit with staggered releases, this isn't impressive at all i'd like to see what numbers she'd make with just one version of one album she'd still clear her peers but i doubt it'll touch a million

  21. Actually i heard tempo wise it was like Judas with a touch of Nature Boy and Dope Vocally its like Starstruck and The Lady Is A Tramp And lyrically it is like Blade of Grass and Dancing in Circles Music video wise it is Alejandro/Telephone/Judas but yet also Million Reasons

  25. As a 33 year old who used to be a hardcore monster, I love this era. Good music, critical acclaim, references in Pop culture… etc. It’s nice to see that almost 20 years into her career she‘s still serving, is still relevant and considered an icon and had one of her biggest Songs ever (DWAS). Especially, considering that during the BTW era Most people were like: Next year people will have forgotten about her. 10 years ago I probably would have wanted more music videos and more TV performances and more shocking moments but the music industry has changed and so have I. So all in all Im really happy for gaga and how this era has been going

  32. I'm guessing it was not possible because she had to rehearse and prepare for coachela, then she embarked on a mini world tour with the promo shows, that was very time consuming too. Plus, what she did is much better promo than doing some late night shows.
