  1. I’ve seen it on X now and a few other places, but as predicted, Abracadabra reached #56 on the 2025 Billboard Hot 100 Year-End chart! That’s quite good considering it never entered the top 10 on the weekly chart and was more of a top 40 staple in the US! ROM, for comparison, was #48 on the 2020 chart, and that was a #1 song. https://x.com/MrPopOfficial/status/1998470689397878919 Edit: it also got #33 on the Global 200, which reflects how much the US has horrible taste in music compared to the world.

  3. Someday, we'll look back at this era with joy. Who knew a Joker side single would become the biggest song in the world OF ALL TIME? I for one didn't think so. This era is epic. It's organic. The level of success Gaga reached is absolutely shocking, if you really think about it.

  7. There seems to be a lot of angry, dissapointed fans complaining online about the crowd control at the Brisbane show last night. Some are saying they even missed the first few songs, because they were stuck outside the gates for hours. What happened Suncorp?

  14. I had 'VIP' early entry GA tickets, the suncorp staff were really nice and provided us water etc. during the day while waiting in line. We got moved to another barrier and that's when it became a mess, we waited for an hour to be let inside the stadium and the Livenation rep told us we weren't allowed to use our phones. I assume this is because Gaga was doing a soundcheck which had been delayed due to technical issues. We waited for over an hour before we were let onto the floor, not long after the psycho got removed by security. (No idea how he got passed security in the first place). I had friends who were waiting outside in a massive queue to get inside and they had to rush to their seats as the show had started. It was just poorly organised, 'VIP' early entry was really not worth it. We got treated like cattle and people were suffering from heart stroke. Gaga was fabulous but the poor organisation did spoil the experience.

  15. Do you mean both choruses? Because they sound very different to me. The main similarity I noticed is the So Happy I Could Die chorus and the Pocketful of Sunshine verses.

  18. Gaga and Bruno should really do a joined Album like he did with "SilkSonic". If both love working with another, bet their label would die to release this kind of Album. And Gaga and Bruno are so creative, they would create bangers for the ages, critical acclaim, Grammys, Oh I see it right before my eyes...

  23. Taylor Swift’s Last Album Sparked Bizarre Accusations Of Nazism. It Was A Coordinated Attack Data analysis of social media posts painting the singer as a Trump supporter or white supremacist revealed a network of inauthentic accounts By Miles Klee Link: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/taylor-swifts-social-media-campaign-life-of-a-showgirl-1235480646/ Summary After Taylor Swift released The Life of a Showgirl in early October, social media filled with accusations that she was promoting MAGA politics, trad-wife ideology, or even Nazi symbolism. Many fans assumed these claims (which focused on things like the word “savage” or a lightning-bolt necklace) were simply overreactions from left-leaning commentators. However, new research from behavioural-intelligence firm GUDEA shows the backlash was not organic. Analysing 24,000 posts across 18,000 accounts, they found that a small cluster of inauthentic, coordinated accounts (only 3.77% of the total) drove 28% of all conversation about Swift during the two-week window after the album’s release. These accounts seeded conspiratorial content on fringe sites like 4chan before it spread to mainstream platforms where genuine users, by arguing against it, unintentionally amplified it. GUDEA identifyed two distinct spikes in misleading activity related to Swift. The first came on Oct. 6 and 7, with approximately 35 percent of the posts in GUDEA’s data set for that time frame generated by accounts behaving more like bots than human users. The second took place over Oct. 13 and 14, after Swift released a merch collection that included the lightning bolt necklace (commemorating the song “Opalite”), with about 40 percent of posts shared by inauthentic accounts and conspiracist content accounting for 73.9 percent of the total volume of conversation. GUDEA also found overlap between the accounts targeting Swift and those involved in a bot-driven smear campaign against Blake Lively, suggesting a broader, sophisticated network aimed at reputational harm. Keith Presley, GUDEA’s founder and CEO notes that some 50 percent of the web is now made up of bots. “This is something that we’ve seen escalate on our corporate side — this type of espionage, or working to damage someone’s reputation.” The article concludes that in today’s online ecosystem, inflammatory claims are designed to trigger engagement and that outrage, even in defence, only boosts their reach.
