zexion_armando 241
tbh out of all the opening acts, this seems like the only one I could excited for. I just think it would be interesting to see a hologram star.
Vernier 3,786
Forever pressed I never saw Zedd open for her, kinda wish it went to an up and coming act like Madeon or Martin Garrix (EDM esque); this could be cool though. Should've promoted Xscape with a holo-Michael instead though . On the plus side at least I don't have to sit through a longer LS set than necessary. Why would she want to? Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
Ladey Gagz 2,512
I'm surprised by some of the criticisms. I think Hatsune embodies the blending of ART (the vocaloid technology and projections) and POP (the actual music). We celebrated Gaga for being vomited on for the sake of challenging society's pre-conceived notions of what it means to be an artist. But when we're presented with Hatsune, some say "omg shes not even a reel person god $200 for smething that isn't real ew no thanks". When she says ARTPOP could mean everything, she meant it. Never thought if it that way

It takes a lot of work to create Miku, and shes a really big icon in Asian territories. Honestly, a lot of this negativity towards Miku and even Crayon Pop kinda has undertones of xenophobia towards Asian culture, cuz its coming across among here that most users dont want to hear Asian music. Gaga has her reasoning behind picking her opening groups/singers, and I respect that. And they kinda go with the rave-like experience she wants to embody in the tour. Preston 10
I'm down for this - it seems pretty cool. Not the biggest fan of Kpop, but at least this is something different. Also, I hope Starlight does something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlrlGnSxDNc Then the openers will be actually pumpin for the ATL and NYC dates

Spill that tea girl! Hatsune Miku and Gaga had sort of similar starts as well (well into commercialism). Both used the internet and social media to create a web of influence that lead into the foray of Stardom and international praise. (as well as disdain and confusion) Hatsune Miku is really the minds of all of her Fans and individual users --- just like Gaga lives for her fans, hatsune miku almost quite literally IS her fans. She would be NOTHING without them! Shes ART -- POP -- and TECH all the same time! Some of the fan made songs you find on youtube or itunes of her have SO much depth. Fans compose music and spin off of each others ideas and each add something new to the list. The Nico Nico Douga community and the over all revolution that is Hatsune Miku is BEAUTIFUL and closed minded peeps can stay pressed AF! 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Yeah... unfortunately this seems to be the case. Personally, I love how she is introducing these artists to a different audience. Plus, the attitude of ARTPOP really feels very J- and K-Pop, in my opinion. It appears to fit with the artRAVE.
