Maybe that's why Gaga didn't release it? She said she was completely depressed by the end of 2013 and didn't want anymore criticism? Anyways what do you think? So to answer your question, MAYBE. She would have gotten a lot of backlash that's for sure. I agree. People would of said she's copying miley and it would result in a whole lot of backlash. And DWUW did get a whole lot of promo and i don't think the video would of made that big of a difference in its chart performance. Perhaps it would of become a top 10 hit, but that would be it. I think the video was worse than WB and Gaga didn't want to go THAT extreme, so she realized it was too much and scrapped it. Remember her saying we weren't ready for the video if we thought SNL was questionable? Terry is a perv and so is R. Kelly and I think both went too far with the visuals and concept! She didn't want to seem like a try hard and be an attention seeker.
