Dangerous Man 9,245
This Is How We Do is just catchy enough to gain buyers and listeners, why is that hard to figure out? I mean GUY is catchy but the production turns off the GP. Gaga is "indeing" herself from the GP. She's even planning now to go for rock songs. We should not be expecting her anymore to do well on charts. Let's be happy on whatever achievements she will get and stop being pressed to other artists' success. Seems my top 20 prediction is goin to happen yasssss. Kween of Pop :legend: "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."

Dangerous Man 9,245
12, 66, 381 Black Widow This might go top 10 in H100 before the VMAs. The timing is amazing ala Katy Perry singles. Bang Bang is still number 2, i think that's amazing too. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."

Spartacus 4,485
Where do expect 'Anaconda' to debut on the Hot100? And 'TIHWD' won't enter the top20 - it will be her 'MTN'. And I'll remind you of Iggy's singles doing well on radio so no excuse why Nicki's shouldn't. I swear. smh -𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐌𝐀™

Mills 446
Radio doesn't do favouritism because it's a nice person, it does it because of $$$ Agreed. Everything revolves around commercial appeal. Radio needs listeners for ad revenue, and playing artists with established commercial appeal is the way to attract them. That sounds more of a motivation on them than something mainly based on rumours online. And 'TIHWD' won't enter the top20 - it will be her 'MTN'. And I'll remind you of Iggy's singles doing well on radio so no excuse why Nicki's shouldn't. I swear. smh Iggy Azalea's songs are doing well on radio for the simple fact that she had a chart-topping smash on the HOT 100. She's being built as the breakout star of this year, hence the radio support. If she tops it again, then that support would only strengthen - in the same way on how radio is treating the current radio favourites.
chris777 112
ACTUALLY, Gaga was close to the top 100 with 1.638M AI It was in the 400s-500s when it was stalled around 7M which meant next to no one new was hearing it each day. But when TIHWD is gaining .9M on radio that means there's more people hearing everyday. SWERVE It was close because the video was released. Then it went down on iTunes fast despite growing more airplay day by day.

Unconditionally, Birthday, and possibly even This Is How We Do? Yet radio still insist of overplaying her...I don't get it to be honest. It's not like she's a foolproof commercially appealing entertainer.

It's not like she's a foolproof commercially appealing entertainer. Her hits still outweigh the non-hits, which is still very marketable. It's the perk of having a string of number ones. Her label has successfully established her as a good seller on radio, allowing her to have a more favourable advantage over those who don't. Same could be said towards Mariah Carey back in the 1990s, and Rihanna today - even with their own share of under-performing singles, radio kept on playing their songs to the moon. I believe it's the consistency of coming up with hits, not just within an album but across all of their releases, that really makes them as radio favourites. Anyway, speaking of radio and their faves, the OP is updated with the list of artists who topped the HOT 100 Airplay the most since 1984.

Well I hope I, not a terrible person for saying this but since they radio likes to play favourites so much I hope Katy (and others like her) get a string of underperforming songs so maybe radio stops being so biased. Agreed (not you being a terrible person because you're not, you're one of our most amazing members here!). That happened to Madonna (even though the radio boycott during the 2000s against her is a different matter), Mariah Carey, and the other earlier radio faves. Once under-performing singles keep coming in, so does the end of favouritism.

monketsharona 80,470
you act like TIHWD went #1 guys its still a huge flop like birthday. and nowhere WW this time either. I agree. Though the song is growing on radio and charts. But if you look at Kworb, the song is not growing so much on Itunes.. And the video starts loosing views... Let's see how it's going to do thanks to radio support... But I'm not expecting a hit with this song...
