True. ARTPOP has no momentum at all, and that greatly caused G.U.Y.'s failure as a single. I just prefer for her to have at least something on radio for the remainder of this year if the new Gaga album would still be up by next year. Otherwise, there's yet another long period of unproductive absence. Plus, given G.U.Y. has already given her a huge chart underperformance, there's no need to be more cautious in releasing singles from her.

I doubt they'd even release a single in a traditional way. I mean, a single having its own promotional run.

Of course not. No airplay (smooth jazz #1 gets 0.08M AI. Beat that!), no GP interest (just some fans buying it). Jazz album is all about album sales.

I'd take a third consecutive underperformance over another long break of nothing on radio at all, because it'd at least help the album in moving a few more copies during the tour. G.U.Y. has officially ruined her record of top 30 hits, so I wouldn't hesitate for her to pull a Rihanna and just continue releasing singles even though they barely enter the top 40. 

Would you consider what Gaga currently has a radio break or not? She's not being played on radio a lot, although she has a new single out.. I'd consider this too part of a long break of nothing on radio

I want something different. EDM can be so diverse..  I always laughed when people say "Gaga only does Dance" like it's the same thing, when in reality TFM is nothing like BTW. But ARTPOP was a bit outdated..  she worked on it from 2011 to 2012 of course it's going to be outdated.  I hope she wrote some new songs for ACT 2...  I want something FRESH :givuep:  The fact that she said "ARTPOP is coming 2013 so it can sound fresh" or something like that when It would've been perfect if she released it along with Unapologetic for example
