Morphine Prince

Neither Unconditionally or Dark Horse gave substantial boosts. Her songs prior to those did, though.

Hmm ok. Dark Horse was already on top when the video was released though, right? So Unconditionally was her one video that didn't boost the song much. I think Birthday will be a hit though.

Dangerous Man

You know before I hate BD but now it's growing on me.

Maybe it's a slow grower.. Let's wait and see...

As for GUY, idk, I still believe it's over.

Whispering

It means that yesterday on the radio G.U.Y. was only played 5 times out of all the stations that are counted, the previous day it got 98. It's weird because two of the plays came from my local station. I really hope the Haus sets up some promo performances or Interscope gets a radio deal, this song has so much potential just like DWUW.

That is NOT what those numbers mean!! :smh:

The number you are looking at is the spin INCREASE, not how many times the song was actually played on the radio.

If your station played it two times, that would be two of the over 270+ spins a day G.U.Y. received from all the stations playing it.

If G.U.Y.was only getting 5 to 100 spins daily, it wouldn't even be in the top 50 yet.

So with the 1.3million from last year on media traffic she is at 1.75million copies I don't know where many fans get 2million plus from. There is no way it has even passed 2million yet - shipments perhaps but not sales!

Does anyone else worry for the sheer fact that Hello Kitty might be a Hot 100 entry based on US streams of making fun of the song? :emma:

It's overshadowed by the respective chart performances of their singles. One produced one decent hit, while the other has managed to score two consecutive global smash hits. Once an album has scored at least one global smash hit, it's becoming easier for the press and for the public alike to forget about the rest, in same way how Rihanna's last two albums are perceived as a success due to their chart-topping lead singles among others.
