It's an artistic show, music, entertainment, and Gaga herself is a believer, even though she doesn't necessarily agree 100% with the church. Some people are brainwashed by extreme religious beliefs, where they cling rigidly to them or have their own twisted notions. I'm an atheist myself and don't criticize others for their belief or disbelief in religion

As long as religion exists religious people with no sense of self will always use it as an excuse to be awful people and as long as that happens we won’t stop hating religion. Abolish it I say. Religion has done more harm to society than any drug ever has and drugs are illegal.

Also we don’t want equality we want equity there’s a difference.

idk, pretty sure gaga said a lot about equality even amongst religions so I thought it was common sense between people in here.
I do think religion is harmful, yes. But faith, not necessarily in a god but any superior energy, is vital for self development. I think Jung used to talk about it a lot. 
and its just not fair to attack a whole religion just bc some assholes can't interpret something beyond their selfish awful reasons.

As I said; religion has done more damage to the world than drugs has. And just because Gaga has a belief doesn’t mean I share it.

I was referring to the common misconception that people who support “equality” want everyone to have the same when we want equity that’s actually different. Equity means giving people who have less something to make them equal to people who have everything already.

Honestly, remove religion and it's replaced by something else. Even athiesism has become a pseudo religion for its more extreme proponents these days. Just like the market is religion for athiest capitalists. 

People are trash by nature and as social beasts they seek a uniting belief system to justify their flaws. 

Unless you can make the perfect person, you'll never be rid of religion.

I don’t believe people are trash by design, complex sure but all hate is learned.
 

Religion is one of those (and probably the biggest of those) teachers of inequality. It’s responsible for wars, homophobia, sexism, racism and beyond. It’s trickled down sadly over generations.
