I am looking at this statistically. I would say 4 years ago Gaga had heaps more fans now I would say Katy is waaay more popular. Just look at the success of Prism and its singles especially Dark Horse and Roar! Compare the first week views of TIHWD and GUY, thats much fairer to measure fanbase. Its views on VEVO have also gained half a million in less than 24 hours, within the same time frame where it has strengthened its lead over the Nicki Minaj songs. At this rate, it has yet to really blow up. We're probably seeing the potential top single of 2014. I'm betting on it. Another debut smash from a female artist. It's been quite some time since we've seen one. And to make it sweeter, she seems more entertaining than Lorde. Let's just hope she's not a one-hit wonder. Something tells me it won't peak in the Top 40... TIHWD? Yep, I agree. A single whose music video just got released and still couldn't even enter the top 100 on iTunes is screaming to be one huge flop. It is. Even with the supposed trap remix coming soon, it would hardly save it. The best it can do is to push its sales to top 50 on iTunes for a few days.
