And I played it first to them (at least the ones that are in my group) is Fancy doing good here ? I played it a few times in class and no one reacted in any way, while later one girl said "Put some music on again" and another girl said " But please not that song again" I got a WP for that thread Why it was just a discussion. Born This Way has that universal sound. It can't be dated because it's influenced by 70s .. its just timeless just like 21. ARTPOP sounds outdated even tho it was meant to be fresh.. Imo only Zedd's productions are dated on ARTPOP. Aura , Venus, MJH and Sexxx Dreams are NOT dated. Fashion! and MANiCURE are 70s-80s inspired so, like BTW they are timeless, the same with Dope that is a raw ballad. ARTPOP is unique I'd say even if it has a very simple production, the same with Applause that sounds unique. Gypsy does have a simple and kind of dated production but for the kind of song it works well I guess. IMO GUY and DOnatella are dated and Swine even if pure EDM, it's not what you call a commercial song. DWUW that has 2000's RnB production sounds dated to me.
