aussie27 0
coz radio is so unfair. Dropping G.U.Y and shoving birthday down our throats that's not katy's fault though - that's an issue with radio.

Gaga came out of nowhere after a blackout, radio wouldn't play a song that has been in 300-400 even after a vid
Jee Yew Whai 1
I agree to an extent. Gaga came out of nowhere after a blackout, radio wouldn't play a song that has been in 300-400 even after a vid G.U.Y. was climbing towards the top 100 when the vid came out. IF interscope was smart. they would have released the song to radio before the vid came out or the day it came out to keep the momentum going. It would have propelled g.u.y. further upwards. The minute it began falling bellow the 300 mark, there was no going back because the momentum was lost.
Bye 3,947
Why doesn't she deserve it? Because she lacks vocal ability and credibility as an artist

Unconditionally wasn't even top 10 (or 15? idr)? Do What U Want was given lots of radio support following Applause, a top 5 hit. G.U.Y. came out months after DWUW left the airwaves and Gaga disappeared essentially. Not to mention, Gaga really didn't do much to support the song aside from release a video for it 2 weeks before it was released as a single. Katy Perry, whether anyone likes it or not, is probably the biggest...or one of the biggest names in pop music. She may not be considered an "album artist" but she creates catchy singles (whether they're memorable or groundbreaking is irrelevant). So yea, her songs are going to be given preferential treatment on the radio because her era is still very much relevant and well received.

Did he have an argument with gaga?
artpopmess 369
But radio seems to love Zedd's productions. Clarity peaked at #2 and Stay the Night at #6 on overall radio. If anything Gaga's pop appeal combined with Zedd's should have made G.U.Y. an instant hit. don't follow my instagram (trying out reverse psychology)
