Bye

Its my least favorite single choice tbh but I am willing to move back for the sake of the fanfavorite. Its just sad for me that ARTPOP is my favorite Gaga album and almost all the singles are my least favorites. Except from Applause that is my favorite DWUW, GUY and Gypsy are in my least favorites on the album and they are all fan-favorites. :flop:

Those last 3 aren't my faves either :rip: my dreams of Venus, ARTPOP, Dope will never be fulfilled  But then again even in the BTW era I was only really happy with TEOG as a single :awkney: And TFM only with BR and Alejandro (DITD and Monster  ). I'm never really happy with her and Interscope's choices but I wished this era the choices would have been more in line with my preferences. Shame.

Birthday Boy

I would say Venus would still be a good choice since people know about it

Coldplay's new single is top 5!

Goes to show that both Venus and Do What U Want might have snatched top 10/top 5 if released in a less competitive chart era

touring should not be an excuse for not releasing singles, neither should "loss of momentum"

Gaga is not above the others, she can afford to have a few more flop singles in order to have a hit. it's just the way it'll be from now on.

Whispering

I would just release Gypsy to promote the album and the tour! I wouldn't mind if it misses TOP 100 or whatever... It's a great song

This would be what I would do, as well.

Every artist has a few flop singles along the way. Labels know this and, believe it or not...radio executives know this. They know that labels don't always make the best decisions and that they can't always predict what will or won't catch on. There is no label, no artist, NO ONE that can predict what will hit big (or flop) 100% of the time! Because of this fact, radio stations are a lot more flexible with a few misses along the way than people are giving them credit for.

Having said that...unless you are KP, radio PDs DO NOT jump all over a fourth single, and rarely push it much at all.

Gypsy would be a long shot at this point. A top 20 spot on Pop and a semi-successful HAC song would be seen as a HUGE victory! Even then, I would give it a try, mainly because Gaga is currently on tour in the US. It helps to have a current single somewhere on radio. (even though it is not a must have for a successful tour)

Do you think birthday will go top 10? i don't think it will tbh

I think radio stations are going to push it like no other fourth single (with such a mediocre reaction from listeners) in the history of Soundscan. Radio will get BD into the top 10 or they will die trying!

I agreed wiyh the choices on TFM era, I just wanted also DITD as single. From BTW Era Judas and TEOG are singles U really wanted as well... Interscope rarely agrees with my choices as well tbh. :rip:
