Valextra 58 Posted April 9, 2014 Share Posted April 9, 2014 Its gonna sound predictable and basic but as I said before the release of the single, GUY is not a good single choice. The song doesn't have the thing that will make the difference, in my opinion its one of the least impressive songs on the album. The times that a good dance song with a good video would do always well on the charts is over and GUY is old news in my opinion. The album had much much better single choices with much more potential and fresh sound like Sexxx Dreams or Venus or sure hits like Gypsy and Dope. For me the problem is not the single, GUY still has potential, it's a very strong song like I said before. Even if with 'Venus' or 'Sex Dreams' the situation will be the same. The problem was the blackout and the disappear of the album from the charts, GP and radios support well Applause and DWUW, and GP was really disappointed with DWUW situation because they were ready for that song, here in Italy I still heard DWUW instead of GUY. So radios after this blackout and the disappear of the album from the charts, it seems that they won't pay attention to Gaga next singles from this era, I think GP and media in general are so over this project like it would be finish|dead. For me at this point only an inedit song (but in a 2-3 months from now) could chart, but I don't see now a future for ARTPOP, except the second part with new songs.
