They weren't going to give her a spot to come on and perform a new song...Come on! A huge artist like Gaga and a good management and label (I mean Bobby + Interscope).. they can push for a performance even without nominees.. But I kind of agree with you cuz they wouldn't do it for a 2nd/3rd single (they would push for a performance if Gaga was in the position of Beyonce. . . releasing a lead single etc.. ) and another thing is that at the moment of the Grammys, Gaga's management was still in the air So Grammy performance was impossible without invitation this year ..
