Haus 152
It gets really, really grating seeing people complain about Dope all the time yesterday I was reading people say that it kills the mood of Roseland. And of course there are people who generally b---h about the song and call it the worst of ARTPOP. It's one of my favorite ballads of hers and definitely my favorite one she's released. It has a beautiful chorus and an incredible understated production, which is what everyone always begged for when Speechless and You & I were "overproduced". And it's probably her most personal ballad too. So why don't people like it? What's wrong with it? Help me understand.
Shawn Knowles 2
she sounds like a female bruce springsteen impersonator.
Gagz 2,579
It's kind of boring, it interrupts the flow of the album, and, to be quite honest, her vocal performance on the studio track isn't up to par with the rest of the album.
Didymus 34,379
From what I heard, the fact that it can't be played at a club makes it destroy the mood for a lot of people.
Willy Wonka 4
Hate the vocals on the album, loved it on Letterman
Morphine Prince 105,659
Maybe they don't like it because it's the most laid back song. It 's not a dance track like every other song on the album. It's awesome though.

Well people are dumbasses if they didn't think she was going to have at least one ballad on the album.

"You can play the whole album from start to finish in a club." Yes, it's weird how people thought there wouldn't be a ballad.

Any thoughts like that should've been squashed when she performed I Wanna Be With You in September
