The instrumentation is so beautiful, well balanced and variable + she self-produced this masterpiece The moment i heard this i knew she wasn’t lying about NIN being a huge inspiration for the album. The Poison is cute but it’s just three basic guitar chords for three minutes Antidote reminds me of Hurt a lot (and some of Trent Reznor’s live piano renditions of his other tracks), both NIN’s and Johnny Cash’s version. i’ve also noticed a small melody interpolation between the outro of Happy Mistake and Hurt. ...has anybody seen my disco stick?
