Don't push them. They recently learned the word discount.

:worship2: Best comment all day!!

It's the thing that bothers me the most about the roll out this era! Just discount the damnn album already and keep it that way!

Ughh, they've been so stubborn about this! :grr:

Pure Adrenaline

But when is she going to rehearse? :toofunny: isn't it normal to rehearse for at least 1-2 months 4-6 hours a day when you're about to go on a tour with choreography, theatrics, 15+ outfit changes, such a huge stage, 30 dancers, a live band, etc :deadbanana:

this .... let's not repeat the MB 1.0 oppening night :smh:

It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely

Ive said that maybe you are right on radio, but the way they put out GUY remains experimental. It doesnt happen all the time that a video comes 2 weeks before the radio add and one day after it is oficially announced as a single.

Depends. Demi put some of her videos out the day of her single release (not add date). Shakira has done it twice with both her singles. Empire doesn't even have an add date yet. Miley releases her videos before the add date, usually. They've move up the add date due to the response, on one of the singles. (can't remember which one)

Just because a song drops out of the BB 100, doesn't mean it can't get back in. That happens too.

Most of all, this is a third single. Its growth is going to look different than a debut single. Will it end up being even a top 20 song? I don't know...I have the same reservations I've always had, but it really is too early to call either way.

Wait what happened I wasn't even aware of her existence back then

I would like to know too, but this is wildly off topic! Can we take it to the other thread, so I can discuss it, please?

All your examples remains exceptions or pre album singles. Outside of Miley, I dont know any song that did that and turned the stategy into succes and Miley find the succes because of the video(s) reactions.

But hey let GUY be the first one.

Demi's songs weren't pre album. And why is that important? Can pre album singles have a video that comes out the same day as the song, but other singles can't? That rule doesn't exist.

I gave you recent examples that I could recall quickly off the top of my head, not just exceptions. I'm not going to go through the last few years and list every song that has done something similar to this. G.U.Y. is not the only or first non-debut single to release a video at the same time the song is released for radio play. G.U.Y. will not be the only song to ever drop out of the BB 100, with a video, and try to climb the charts to get back in.

Study the charts for a couple of years and you will see that release strategies are varied and ever changing. There are no hard and fast rules.

You are talking about Demi MITUSA? Because that was a big flop and it was after her biggest hit.
