I can't believe a country guy is beating a jazz album by Gaga. I hope the best for my queen, It'd be such a great satisfaction

Fixed, there's a difference

Whispering

He's kinda like Dave Matthews. Lots of loyal followers, but it's the same people going to concert after concert. Kenny's not even that well liked within country music.

He has had 30 singles that have charted in the top 10 on the Country charts, and 20 of those were #1s. His lead single for this upcoming album already went #1.

I'm thinking country music likes him just fine.

Not like they used to. His album sales in the U.S. have gone from 850,000 in 2010, to 592,000 in 2012, to 392,000 in 2013. He also doesn't win awards really anymore. He used to win Entertainer of the year a lot which is based on touring, but hasn't won that since 2008.

Chesney is still getting number ones and is still ending up as the top country tour every year. (unless you count Swifty as country ;)) Unlike true "legacy acts", he is still getting top 10 hits and even #1s. Kenny has had 9 top ten hits since 2010, with 6 of those going to number one.

He may not be the new "it guy" in country anymore, but he is still a legitimate threat on the album chart, especially his first week. And he is still getting multiple hits with each album.

I'm just saying he's not as big as he once was and that his fan base is just a bunch of diehards within country music. A lot of country music people don't like him. And no, I don't county Swift as country.

Gypsy Life

I'm assuming (just guessing) that we might have a lead over Babs and Kenny now that Interscope, Gaga and whoever runs Tony's social media accounts suddenly stopped with the thirsty tweets and the iTunes link?

If we were still behind they'd be pushing it so hard now to get any last minutes sales.
