Nessun Dorma 8,501
With 12 tracks, their sixth studio album is out now! “The gift of going through something awful is that you can embrace someone who’s been through it too.” (Florence Welch) Have you listened to the album yet? I'm blown away, this is probably my favorite work of theirs so far! 1 5
Vimo 1,202
It is powerful, elegant, rooted in nature. It feels soooooo organic, she's a banshee.
matteonster 519
For some reason a few years ago her music became distant to me, which might have been due to some things I was going through at that time. But now, woow. This record does something to me, I really enjoy it. I’m so happy that it made me reconnect with her music “Don't you ever let a soul in the world tell you that you can't be exactly who you are.”
Brainiac 11,091
This record was NOT what I was expecting based on the album title and title track so I'm a bit disappointed, not gonna lie. I don't see myself going back to any of these slower songs. HBHBHB remains my Florence magnum opus. Edited 12 hours ago by Brainiac

Bronco 13,279
Thank god this is in a seperate Grammys eligibility period to Gaga. This album is amazing & devastating. It really blends every era of her discography so far into one package. Knowing about the miscarriage on tour she went through, You Can Have It All is ****ing incredible and a major emotional gut punch. This is the magnum opus. 1
tomsches 17,447
I like it. It’s Not her best, though. I feel Like this time she concentrated on the lyrics as opposed to the melodies. I‘ve been a huge fan since 2008/09 and I love their signature sound but at this point this album would have been a good opportunity to try something completely new. I mean it’s a Great album, but ever since the Release of Berghain everything else has been completely overshadowed for me
princedeeblebleble 2,110
I've listened it so many times today, but the best listen was outside in the woods. Its such an experience of an album, cause you never know what emotional sucker punch she'll deliver; like knowing what inspired the music it adds to the weight. The horror references from Carrie and then to Buffy, all the folk and witchcraft references.. then adding her personal story to it, is just.. amazing! The production also took me by surprise, I kinda expected a more grand surreal soundscape, but its very guitary, but I really love it overall cause the imagery she paints is so vivd and beautiful!. Highlights are defo Simpathy magic,Kraken, Old religion, You can have it all.. I also love Witch dance, but I miss a massive explosion moment like what happens in Kraken and YCHIA. But overall it's such a beautiful cathardic album, its always insane how she always releases an album on theme for where I'm kinda mentally at Love u Flo, never change! Agunimon 71
Ran to the ancestral plane, but they all showed up drunk and insane When I asked what I could offer them They said, "Gin and tonic or lithium" I asked, "Which way should I go?" Through cigarette smoke, they said "Child, how would we know?" ... I came to a clearing Full of wailing and keening A well of tears that never runs dry Women said, "We've been waiting Waiting to meet you, it's only a matter of time" Thrust my fists in the ground And the earth made a moaning sound, oh, oh I could feel something shudder Deeper, deeper down And I met every monster from the bar to Broadway And all their violent offers, I just turn them away And your threats and your promises, they don't scare me After all, there's nobody more monstrous than me Wow! There's a very specific feeling that I love to feel, and it happens when an artist I've followed for years releases new work and that work makes me fall in love with them all over again. Such a good feeling! 1
LaFama 4,720
I was a little scared because I wasn't really sold on Everybody Scream and One Of The Greats, but on my first listen I enjoyed the record a whole so so so much. Sonically is pretty much what I was expecting, in fact I even thought it would be way more calmer than it is. The Old Religion is the stand out track for me, I was amazed when I heard it for the first time, I'd even say it's one her best songs; Drink Deep, You can have it all, And Love are great too. It might not be my favorite album, but it's a very solid work and I feel like I need more time to digest all of it, she poured so much of herself in it and played with her references in a way that makes me want to keep listening again and again. Its not a fedora u f*ck

Its currently score on Metacritic is 87! A well-deserved universal acclaim 9 hours ago, Bronco said: This album is amazing & devastating. I read somewhere this album is an emotional exorcism and it really feels like it knowing what Flo’s body endured and the trauma around her pregnancy and miscarriage. “I used to think I knew what sadness was, I was wrong” 💔 We’re just so lucky to have her!

That's a perfect description for it. It has the same haunting energy as Ceremonials. Its ethereal.

I'm an old time fan and saw her on tour three times before but seeing her during the Dance Fever tour was extremely cathartic in way that is hard to explain, it was one of the best things I've experienced in my life so far, so the bar was really really high this time...
