Cheek To Cheek is the kind of album which will sell really well at Christmas so I'm not worried about sales or anything like that at this point

Gaga's U.S and Canadian certifications need a major update.

Doesn't the U.K now add streaming to their certs or is that just added to their charts now?

Yes, audio streams are now counted to both, with the same ratio being used (100 streams = 1 sale).

Here's the press release from BPI.

Same. Jazz albums are the closest thing to the typical Holiday-themed records. Their sound are almost identical. CTC as a timely gift to family and friends shouldn't be a problem come December.

There's not one doubt in my mind that Applause needs a Gold (400,000) cert in the U.K. Its sales are ~300k.

It's definitely been streamed 10,000,000+ in the U.K :deadbanana:

Hopefully Gaga touring the U.K in Oct+Nov brings forth an update :excited2:

''When the Tony Bennett/Amy Winehouse duet "Body and Soul" debuted at number 87 for the week of October 1, 2011,[73] Bennett became the artist with the longest overall span of singles on Billboard's Hot 100 chart  53 years, 58 days on account of his single "Young and Warm and Wonderful" which debuted at #59 on the very first edition of the Billboard Hot 100 dated August 4, 1958.''

Hopefully 'Anything Goes' will make it and he will extend his record :)

Overall album sales are bad, I don't think C2C will be an exception.

Album sales have been on a massive decline in recent years but C2C will also bring in an older audience who still buy the album on CD or vinyl.
