Gypsy Life 118,907
Unless it's actually good and reignites interest in Gaga. Yes, but radio is unpredictable. It can be good and still radio pays it dust.
Luc 4,775
And trust me, a BritGa collab would be the biggest event of the year in Pop music. #1 on iTunes and then it'll drop to the 10-20s for a few week. Platinum on lock. Everybody knows Britney. Everybody knows Gaga. They both have a HUGE fanbase (enough for a 250k debut together in the US). And knowing Gaga's team, there'll be a huge radio deal and it'll get 30M AI first-week. Then it'll struggle a bit, until it gets a video and radio support. But I simply think that there's no surprise release coming. Don't you think Gaga would've told fans backstage or at least said something or would've given a cryptic hint? And when did they film the video?

And when did they film the video? both britney and gaga have had unsucessful eras. britney jean being a massive flop. noone talks about britney or gaga. I never see them on the news, neither of them have singles in the BB top 100, and both of their latest singles did horribly... anything could happen. I didnt even know before g.u.y. a gaga song can chart bellow the top 50. unless the song is good, catchy, and radio plays it, it would do well. the fact that its britney and gaga in th song tbh wouldnt do anything positive

And when did they film the video? There's no video. Gaga had no time editing the G.U.Y. video and preparing for the Roseland shows and artRave later. If there is a song happening, they will film the video after its out don't follow my instagram (trying out reverse psychology)
Gypsy Life 118,907
We don't know that guys. Britney got a smash from a collab with Will.I.am, not ****ing Lady Gaga. You are judging too soon. If Rihanna had the same way of thinking she wouldn't have gotten half her hits. Now Gaga needs to save this era first. This duet is a risk worth taking. Think that if it does well Gaga can release Gypsy in the end of summer-last quarter with big potential and get 2 hits (3 with Applause) from a flop era. If Gaga doesn't try the things won't change for the better. Risks need to be taken, risks that can really help. Yeah, I agree about everything. But the ARTPOP era taught me that if there's any possible good step, then it won't happen so I'm lowering my expectations to the ground.

Scream and Shout was released after major flops as well and Will.I.am is irrelevant compared to Gaga. The public doesn't have anything against Gaga, the attention just wasn't in her this era. This can change any time.

Noone is loved by everyone. Half the world hated Michael Jackson. With your way of thinking Gaga has nothing do, you are very wrong here. When she broke through noone cared for her, this doesn't meant that she didn't try. You probably don't know a lot about others careers in the past if you think that this only happened to Gaga. I mean like everyone. Gaga was never liked by anyone anyway, except maybe from TF era. Such s contelroversial figure can't be loved by everyone, guys are you serious? We are arguing for obvious things. :awkney:
