Don't be pressed fokes!

There is always a point where targeting someone as a 'tall poppy' (who must be cut down to size) runs out of media energy. Then the tide will turn and the 'underdog' sequel will commence.

Yes, there has definitely been an anti-Gaga movement but it will run its course and END! The GP will suddenly give a damn about poor little misunderstood and picked on Gaga.

Right now people are enjoying seeing her fail (by her standards! lol) but that will change. I'm so glad that Gaga is plucky and rich and keeps going cuz she believes in herself and in her fans.

I don't think Gaga will ever 'slay' again. But that's because she, and other artists who are her peers, are sick to death of the mind and heart numbing falsity of chart and itunes competition.

I hope I'm not being overly negative or delusional but I don't see this hate on Gaga ending anytime soon. It started back when Alejandro music video was released and since then has only increased to the point where many don't care about her anymore not even to come to the realisation that she's misunderstood/the underdog.

Just, what the **** for the music video in first... Why not wait till radio pick up...

They tried something new which is good. Unfortunately, it failed in the US where it matters most. Something like this might work only for the lead single which was how Applause was intended.

Applause and DWUW were the right steps to winning them back. At my school, she's become edgy again, sort of like she was when she launched before the mega success of JD.

This underdog thing works out when she has the music to back it up and I think that Applause in particular provided that for some people in my experience.

Yeah, maybe I am being overly optimistic. But when I look at the down times for other great or high impact artists there was definitely a 'come-back' sea change in their careers. I think over-exposure is a real thing and real problem in these media drenching times.

I hope the GP runs true to form and re-evaluates Gaga with warmth and acceptance (even if not with understanding).

Seems to me the GP only remains in anti mode with celebs who are constantly in trouble for d--gs and bad behaviour. i.e. Logan, Beiber, CB etc. Gaga is in only in trouble for being 'too famous for her own good'. lol
