Joey1 0 Posted April 9, 2014 Share Posted April 9, 2014 Listen, it's over...this isn't negativity, it's reality and I've final accepted it...maybe with the next album, maybe even if she pulls gypsy/MANiCURE out of her a$$ we'll have one more chance...radio is not going to play GUY the way we need them too...a performance will maybe help us crack the top 100, but it won't stick...Birthday is being released to radio...it will immediately replace Dark Horse and will easily get 200AI, and no one will care about GUY. It's not a spring/summer song, it's not the type of thing that will be played. I think Interscope will push the song a bit more before giving up. you're right! with all the money the video cost i think they'll learn that its not a good decision to put out a video of a single that no one knows and has 0 radio support. Katy Perry - Birthday  I don't think this is doing better than GUY ?  To be honest I don't think Birthday will be a smashing hit like Roar and Dark Horse.
